Big Iron

From the beginning, this project with our good friends at Definition Cigars was about pushing boundaries and stepping into the uncomfortable. Jamond had never made a 6" x 60 RG Parejo, and I certainly intended to avoid it — until Big Rob at the shop pushed us to try. Our goal was to craft a Gordo that non-Gordo smokers would enjoy, and we truly believe we succeeded. It features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a double Condega binder, and Nicaraguan filler. The branding draws inspiration from Marty Robbins’ “Big Iron,” a classic about an Arizona Ranger and an outlaw gunfight. The silver garter band nods to the .45 Colt Single Action Army revolver the Ranger uses to bring Texas Red to justice.
