Padre Elegido

Padre Elegido, or “Chosen Father”, is LACC’s first expression in an exclusive blend. Blended in partnership with Quesada in the Dominican Republic, we have created a bridge for those who favor cigars of the Old World. 

For many in this industry, it is a family business. However, for some of us, the path is defined by those we choose to guide us- a chosen mentor or father figure. Sometimes in life we have to choose our mentors or fathers, and that is the inspiration behind the name of this cigar. My chosen father passed in 2022, and this blend is a tribute to his memory.

Padre Elegido aims for a light-medium bodied Cubanesque profile. Notes of toasted tobacco, nuts, Sweet caramel, cedar, hay, and white pepper are observed. 

For every cigar purchased, a portion of the proceeds is donated to BridgeHouse/GraceHouse in New Orleans, LA. Bridge House/Grace House is a 24-hour, 7 day a week, residential treatment facility that provides substance-use disorder treatment to men and women in two separate locations, regardless of their ability to pay.
