The Brave line pays homage to Marshal Michel Ney of Imperial France, famously known as "Le Brave des Braves" by Napoleon himself. Ney, often seen with a cigar in hand, achieved renown for his exceptional valor and boundless energy. General Caulaincourt once remarked, "If there was one man that could achieve the impossible, everyone agreed it was Ney."
Blended for Casdagli Cigars by Hendrik Kelner Jr. at the KBF factory, the Brave line features a combination of Dominican fillers, a Dominican binder, and a Claro Colorado Ecuadorian wrapper. This blend results in a subtly creamy and nutty flavor profile that delights the palate. With a strength that falls within the mild to medium-bodied range and sweet aromas, the Brave line offers notes of cedar, oak, toast, hazelnuts, and cream.
The leaves chosen for the Piramide vitola are of a higher priming than those used for the Robusto, ensuring a perfect match for the larger size of this cigar.
