Before reaching its final form, Four Kicks underwent several prototype phases. But Crowned Heads made a bold decision: they resurrected a previously rejected blend and introduced it as a new brand named Four Kicks Capa Especial. Formulated in 2011 with the assistance of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, the creator of the cigars, this blend holds a special place in the heart of EPC- this cigar was his pick.
Wrapped in an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, Four Kicks Capa Especial represents Perez-Carrillo's preferred version of the blend, boasting robust flavors of leather, hazelnut, earth, and orange zest. Not only does it stand as a superb cigar in its own right, but Capa Especial also offers intriguing insight into the evolution of the Four Kicks brand, serving as an alternate take with its own distinct charm.
