The Bandolero brand, crafted by Selected Tobacco and spearheaded by Nelson Alfonso, a former graphic designer renowned for his work on the Cuban Behike brand and the Atabey brand in the new world, presents another line of premium cigars meticulously made in Costa Rica. These cigars have earned acclaim for their flawless construction, consistent quality, and rich flavor profile.

During the 18th and 19th centuries, the Spanish crown monopolized cigar production, prohibiting it outside Spain and setting high prices. Enter the Bandoleros, bootleggers who sourced tobaccos from elsewhere, offering cigars at more affordable rates. The Bandolero line pays homage to these historical figures.
