Stallone Bucephalus Habano Maduro Limited Edition
Stallone Bucephalus Habano Maduro Limited Edition
Body: Barnyard
Foot: Straight Chocolate (Cocoa Powder)
Cold Draw: Chocolate with hint of rum sweetness, brown sugar
First third: Initial burn starts off smooth, blend of hay and dark chocolate with that rum sweetness, which has to come from the wrapper which has been aged for 5 years in Rum casks. Very full flavor with a great draw and great smoke output.
Second third: The construction on the War Horse is practically perfect in every way! Between the burn and smoke output and draw, you can just sit back relax and enjoy this one! No large change flavor wise in the second third and I’m not mad at it.
Final Third: The richness and fullness of the Bucephalus is the perfect late night smoke. While no flavor transitions were observed, the profile increased in strength while maintaining a smooth delivery.
Final Thoughts: This is definitely my style of a cigar , very rich and full of flavor.
Very comparable to the Stallone San Andres and Clydesdale offerings but more on a fuller side with consecutive flavor notes throughout. I always joke about wanting a cigar strong enough to kick me in the face and the Stallone Bucephalus War Horse definitely delivers! So if you’re a full strength smoker this Bucephalus is definitely for you!
Pairing Section:
From my Whiskey Cabinet: Perfect to pair with any High Proof Bourbon (Makers Cast Strength) , or Rum finished Scotch!
From the Fridge: Would Pair great with an ice cold Mexican Coke, Barq Root Beer(Glass Bottle) Dr. Pepper or Sweet Tea!
Abbina Pairing: With the Richness and sweetness of the Rum on this War Horse id Suggest a Candlewood to pair with the fullness of this great cigar!
