Room 101 is one of those brands that ushered in the boutique era of new world cigars. Fresh packaging, interesting vitola names, social media presence, and damn good cigars can be seen as the catalyst for the brand success. I am personally I huge fan of the brand. In my eyes they have masterly walked the line of being serious with quality of the end product, while also not taking themselves too seriously. Take notes!

Johnny Tobacconaut was originally introduced in 2015 and was produced  in Honduras by Davidoff. After some hiatus, our sweet Johnathan P Tobacconaut is back- now being produced by AJ Fernandez out of Esteli in 10 ct boxes.

Perfectos are a beautiful thing. Sitting at a sexy 6 “ x 56 RG, the JT is easy on the eyes. Nicaraguan binders and fillers make up the bunch and are wrapped with a gorgeous Ecuadorian Shade Connecticut wrapper. So up my alley. The profile is buttery barnyard, bready graham cracker with slight sweet and spice.

Boxes of 5 and 10 were produced for Luxury Cigar Club. Room 101 has a cult following, so FOMO will most definitely be engaged amongst the masses on this one. Pick up a box if you can, I did. One can expect to pay 160ish for a beautifully presented box of 10 on the American market.
