Product Spotlight: Smokin’ Cat Approved x LA Aficionados Cigar Collective Collaboration

Smoking Cat Approved is a Cigar Accessory Maker out of Suprise, Arizona. Jim Beebe makes ashtrays, cigar rests, and other bespoke accessories. A solid piece of brass is manually machined and finished by hand. In this collaborative Limited Edition, the cigar saddle is bead blasted, and the bottom of the rests are numbered. They are polished to perfection. A natural patina will progress over time, as they are brass. . However, if you prefer the shiny look, a little polishing here and there will maintain that. These works of art weigh a solid pound each. As these are handmade, they aren’t mass produced. You can really feel and see the passion Jim puts into each and every rest. Only 10 rests were made of this limited series.

I consider Jim with Smokin Cat Approved a dear friend. He has taught me a lot about cigars, as well as other things too. I have called him my “cigar dad”😂😂. To carry his product in my store is truly a full circle moment, and is truly an honor.
