The Aganorsa Supreme Leaf Torpedo

Aganorsa has been killing the game as of late. The Supreme Leaf line was originally released in partnership with Privada Cigar Club . Aganorsa Leaf now releases the Supreme Leaf every 6 months or so in a new vitola. So far- a robusto, toro, corona gorda, and most recently a torpedo have been released in the line.

The Supreme Leaf Torpedo sits at 6 inches x 54 RG with a tapered head. I personally love a torpedo, bellicoso, or any figures do in which the head is tapered. In my opinion, this lets the consumer decide on how open they want the draw on their smoke to be.

The Supreme Leaf is a Nicaraguan puro. The wrapper, binder, and filler are all of Nicaraguan descent. What makes this blend shine is the Corojo 99 wrapper. It is a beautiful cigar in appearance, and construction is very good. The cigar is medium-full in body, and medium in strength. The flavor profile is really solid- Coffee, cream, sweetness, nuttiness, earth, and black pepper were observed through the 1.5 hour smoke time.

The band colors and box colors are definitely outside the box, and I think that’s cool. The band definitely makes the cigar stand out. Being a special release, thankfully the price isn’t steep for the Supreme Leaf line. One can expect to pay 110-130$ on the American market for a very vibrant box of 10. One thing though- they don’t stay on shelves long. Definitely box worthy and have enticing aging potential.
